League Rules

The code of conduct is the first rule of Gray Fox Racing if you are not familiar with the code of conduct please make yourself familiar. Pay special attention to section 8 of the COC. It is your responsibility to know The the code of conduct and the rules that we discuss during the drivers meeting. The code of conduct covers many things including flaming, blocking, driving on apron, pitting and driver etiquette. In addition to the code of conduct we have additional rules that are not covered or need to be emphasized from the code of conduct that we will cover nightly during the drivers meeting. Any reasonable questions about the rules will be answered after drivers meeting.

No flaming if something happens on the track and it makes you upset keep it to yourself. Wait till after race is over and look at the replay. SAVE your REPLAY. If you still have a problem we will discuss it that night after race. Some situations may require a cool down period. This includes complaints, concerns ect.. Always save your replay and keep it for at least 1 week. Replays are required for issues, complaints ect.. Admin reserve the right to question about any happenings on the track during the race. Flamers will face consequences. No Flaming.

Teamspeak3 is required for all Gray Fox Racing races. We will work with you on getting set up if needed.

Leader starts the race on all starts and restarts. Leader must go in the start box. Leader you will start IN the start box preferably before green drops. Most tracks have a marked start box. You will receive directions as to where the start box is located during practice and pit parties. Leader please maintain pace speed and do not jack the field. If the green flag drops leader please just go. Everyone should be doing pace speed and half a car length apart and in proper gear and ready to go. Keep the chatter down. EVERYONE must be ready to go on all starts and restarts. Proper gear, spacing and ect.. Failure to go on starts and restarts results in problems throughout the field. This includes the leader. Those who repeatedly fail to go when required will be dealt with.

No changing lanes before the start finish line no matter your position on the track.

No laying back on the field.

No trying to jump the field.

No Days of Thunder starts.

No Three wide on restarts and restarts till the exit of 2 unless you cannot avoid it no matter your position on the track. You must give time to the cars in front of you to go. You will not intentionally jump the car/cars in front of you and claim they didn’t go.

No Blocking.

8.1.1.4. Blocking – The leading driver is allowed to run a defensive line. However, blocking occurs when a leading driver actively adjusts his or her driving line based on the actions and/or positioning of a pursuing driver. For example, veering left to prevent a pursuing driver from passing on the left while running on a straight.

It is the passing drivers responsibility to safely clear the car in front of him. Please watch the pinching down and pinning cars up against the wall. Please just run your line. If you pinch up or down in an attempt to prevent a car from passing you the results of this are on YOU the same as the passer. Don’t pinch drivers the whole race and get upset because an incident results. It takes 2. Please give room guys.

No racing on apron. No going below white or yellow lines unless to avoid incident during green flag racing.

No stopping on the track or apron unless absolutely necessary. If it is necessary please tow or make it to the pits as quickly as possible. Always try to make it to the pits. Please try to avoid bringing out the caution.

Do not intentionally bring out the caution.

Admin reserve the right to throw cautions in the best interest of competition. Excluding points seasons.

When the caution comes out the field is locked by the Sim. Watch driving into wrecks. Everyone needs to get slowed down safely and try to clear the wreck. Be aware of your situation. Get caught up to the pace car and get slowed down and single file and tight like you are going to pit whether you are going to pit or not.

Keep your cars to the right on pit road till you are 3 or 4 stalls out same as pit exit.

We do not clear non bogus pit road penalties. We will clear wrecking into pits and passing crabs penalties. Please report all BFs to the admin by number# Do not wait till one to go to report BFs. If admin clear a BF you will receive an EOL.

We are all here to compete and have fun. Please follow GFR rules. Be respectful of other racers and race them the way you want to be raced. Have fun !
